Handwara:-The students of Government high school Hangha, Handwara, on Wednesday protested against Education department claiming inadequate staff deployment to institutions.
Students of Girl’s and Boy’s High School took to roads and blocked, Mawer-Handwara road.
“Our studies are badly hit due to inadequate staff and this issue has been raised before the authorities several times but to no avail,” students claimed.
They demanded that more teachers should be deputed to the high school so that the education of students does not suffer.
Rejecting students claim Chief Educational Officer Kupwara said that the claims are not factual and staff strength is adequate for smooth functioning of the institutes.
