Srinagar: Clashes erupted in Maisuma area soon after NIA sleuths left the area were they had raided JKLF chief Muhammad Yasin Malik’s residence. 

According to eye witnesses as soon as the team left the area angry youth took to streets and clashed with forces.

“Youth had assembled in nearby lanes and bylanes started pelted stones on the NIA team and the police personnel accompanying them,” locals said.

Protests erupted in the area over the NIA raid to Malik’s house and as soon as they left clashes broke out.
