AWANTIPORA : A protest rally was taken out in Pampore area of Pulwama in South Kashmir on Saturday to protest against the transfer order of Block Medical Officer of the town.
Eyewitnesses told INS that civil society members of Pampore assembled at sub district hospital Pampore and held a protest demonstration against the transfer of Dr. Bilqees Shah, block medical officer.
They said that the civil society members were accompanied by locals as well, who were jointly demanding revocation of transfer order of the said BMO.
Reports said that, protesters were raising slogans against authorities and called order as “injustice” with people of Pampore town.
Pertinently, Dr. Bilqees Shah, served as Block Medical Officer in Pampore hospital, for last several years.
