Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan on Tuesday asked India to introspect as to why Kashmiris are ready to go to any extreme and why they have no fear of death.
Khan made these comments while televised breifing over deadly Pulwama attack that killed more than 40 CRPF personnal.
The attacker was identifed as Adil Ahamd Dar from Pulwama Kashmir who also died in the suicide attack.
“There should be introspection in India as to why Kashmiris are ready to go to any extreme and why Kashmiri youth have not fear of death,” Khan said, adding that ‘does India think that one way oppression of Kashmiris will work which has not served anything from past seventy years’.
Khan said that he had reserved his comments as Crown Prince of KSA was on a state visit and Pakistan was on a recovery mode as it has been worst sufferer of terrorism.
“India is blaming pakistan for pulwama attack if you have any actionable evidence share it. I promise of action but dont use pakistan as a whipping point,” Khan said.
He said that India should understand that world has recognised that only dialogue can end conflicts and referred to Afghanistan as an example.
“Fifteen years of war in Afghanistan is ending because of talks and world has accepted that only dialogue is the way. So India should understand that Kashmir issue will also be resolved through talks,” he said.
He cautioned India that better sense should prevail.
“Its easy to start a war but to end is difficult and you never know which turn it will take,” he said
“If there is an attack on Pakistan, we will not think of retailiation but will act and that is the only way for Pakistan to act against any aggression,” he said.
