While as reports reaching The INS said that on Friday morning Sameera left home to buy some detergent powder from the market and did not return after her parents’ registered a missing complaint in the nearby police station.
When INS contacted Station House Officer Bag-e- Bahu, Sunil Sharma said, “We have received a missing complaint of Sameera from her family who went missing since Friday morning and we are trying hard to trace her whereabouts.”
When asked about any links with Jammu violence Sharma replied, “It is propagated by some sections of media that she went missing after violence erupted in Jammu region which is totally baseless. Jammu violence has nothing to do with it as the violence erupted in the late afternoon of Friday but Sameera is missing since morning of the same day.”
