Two judges seek voluntary retirement, HC orders transfers

Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir High Court has ordered transfer of three judicial officers after two of them offered to retire voluntary from the services.
“Syed Tawqeer Ahmad, Principal District & Sessions Judge, Anantnag has been transferred and attached to the Srinagar wing of the High Court till such time the recommendation for his voluntary retirement from the service is accepted by the State Government,” reads an order issued by the Registrar High Court.
Mohammad Ashraf Malik, President District Consumer Forum, Srinagar has been repatriated and posted as Principal District & Sessions Judge, Anantnag vice Syed Tawqeer Ahmad.
Muzaffar Iqbal Khan, Secretary, District Legal Service Authority, Rajouri has been transferred and attached to the Jammu wing of the High Court till such time the recommendation for his voluntary retirement from the service is accepted by the State Government.
