Srinagar:Shah Faisal on Saturday termed Qayoom Wani’s joining politics as freedom moment for education department.

Without naming Wani,  with whom Faisal had a tough fight during his tenure as Education Director, he said that education was held hostage.

“Education Department gets freedom today.

Congrats to Teacher community and the school children who had been held hostage all these years. With masks down, Inshallah, Education will flourish now in the valley of Kashmir, ” Faisal wrote on his Fb page.

Wani had called Faisal a chocolate boy.
