Kupwara:  Residents of Shartpora Krusan on Monday afternoon blocked the Lolab-Kupwara road demanding the arrest of culprits behind blaze incident in Mosque in the area of lolab in northern Kashmirs kupwara district.
Fire eeupted in intervening night of Sunday in a mosque damaging the building.
“Holy Quran, Matting and other equipment of Mosque was demaged,” the residensts said.
“Many fire incidents surfaced in the area in recent past which went unnoticed but the fire incident last night in which mosque was damaged has angered all the area,” protesters said.
“We seek attention of local Police  and authorities to swing into action and keep round the clock vigil to put an halt on the incidents that has hurt the sentiments of common people,” they demanded.
