Ganderbal: Scores of residents protested against power development department (PDD) and blocked Ganderbal-Safapora road at Mansbal Safapora area of Central kashmirs Ganderbal district on Monday.

 

The protesters said that their transformer damaged several times in a month and they are reeling under darkness again from last week.

 

The protesters said that they had several times complained to PDD authorities regarding this issue and Upgradation of 100 KVA transformer but the concerned department have not taken any initiative.

Residents said that higher officials of PDD are not serious about the problems being faced by locals of Eidgah Mohalla Kondbal on daily basis.

 

ASI Abdul Aziz pacified the protesters assuring them that their complaint will be taken up with higher ups.
