Bandipora: Inhabitants of Kehnusa Village of north kashmiri’s bandipora district on Tuesday staged protest over erratic power supply and blocked traffic on the Bandipora-sopore road.

Reports said that inhabitants of Kehnusa village assembled on the bandipora-sopore road and staged protest against the Power Development Department (PDD) for poor power supply in the area and blocked the bandipora-sopore road for hours due to which the traffic came to grinding halt.

Speaking to INS News, protestingresidents said that people are facing problems due to unscheduled power cuts of over 10 hours in a day.

However, the protesters were pacified and traffic on the bandipora-sopore was resumed later after the intervention of Police and Power Development Department officials, who assured to resolve the problems at the earliest.
