Kupwara:   The armies of India and Pakistan exchanged heavy gunfire along Line of control in northern  Kashmirs Kupwara district on Monday afternoon.  
“The Pakistani troopers at about 11:00 Am targeted the Army’s Balbir sub sector post which was heavily retaliated by the forces. The intermittent  exchange of fire is still on in the area,” he said.
However there was no report of causality or injury from the spot from our end so far, he said.
