Bandipora: Traffic on 86-Kilometre Bandipora-Gurez road was reopened here on Friday after remaining closed due to heavy snowfall in the first week of December.

DC Bandipora Dr Shahid Iqbal Choudhary said: “We have kept the Gurez road open. Today traffic will be from Gurez to Bandipore, one way.  Anti-skid chains are advisable”.

The 84-km long Bandipora-Gurez road was closed for traffic after the area including Razdan Paas which witnessed heavy snowfall.
