Kupwara: An army solider was killed and another suffered injuries after the post of army was targeted by Pakistani troopers along Line of control in Jumgand  of northern Kashmirs Kupwara district on Friday.
Officail sources said that Pakistani troopers violated the Ceasefire by firing upon the Indian troops, resulting in serious injuries to two of its soldiers.
“Among the two injured one succumbed to his injuries at Army’s  Hospital in Drugmulla,” he said.
However identification of both couldn’t be known immediately.
Officials in the police department also confirmed the incident and killing of a solider but couldn’t ascertain the identity of both.
