Anantnag:  A couple was found unconscious in Kokernag area of Anantnag and were rushed to hospital were doctors declared 32 year old woman dead. 
According to preliminary reports asphyxiation is suspected to be the cause of death, investigation has been launched into the death.
According to sources the couple, Fameeda Akhter and her husband Bashir Ahmad Rather R/O Ratherpora Sagam were found unconscious in their room.
The couple have three teenage kids aged 4, 3, and 2 years respectively.
Locals further said that they found the couple unconscious in the room on Wedenesday morning and were shifted them to  nearby hospital were doctors had declared  Fahmeeda w/o Bashir Ahmad Rather dead.
Her husband Bashir Ahmad  has been referred to Srinagar for further treatment.
Meanwhile PDP leader Abdul Rahim Rather has expressed grief over the tragic incident and has asked Doctors at SKIMS to provide all possible attention to the Bashir Ahmad.
