PDP’s Fayaz Mir protests at Parliament against Pulwama killings

Sringar: Member of Parliament Fayaz Ahmad Mir on Tuesday protested against the Pulwama killings at Parliament of India in New Delhi.

Mir, belongs to People’s Democratic Party.

Eye witnesses said that he wore a white shirt and “stop killings in Kashmir’ and ‘stop bloodshed in Kashmir’.

Mir’s protest comes a day after PDP protests inside Secretariat Jammu and Kashmir over the killings.

Seven civilians and three militants were killed in Pulwama on Saturday.

Government forces killed three militants in a gunfight and soon after protests broke out in the area.

Eye witness claim that Forces opened fire upon protesters leading to death of seven civilians in the shootout.

Valley erupted over the killings and three day shutdown was observed over Joint Resistance Leaders call. They had called for Badamibagh Cantonment chalo on Dec 17 which was foiled by police.
