Govt forms panel to screen available, identify new projects for tourism under PMDP

Jammu: The government on Tuesday accorded sanction to the constitution of a Committee to screen from the available projects and identify new projects to be prepared by different State level construction agencies for Tourism Department under Prime Minister’s Development Package (PMDP).
Headed by Administrative Secretary Planning, Development & Monitoring Department, the four member panel comprises of Administrative Secretary Forest, Environment & Ecology and Department, Administrative Secretary Tourism and director Tourism, Jammu/Kashmir.
The Committee to be serviced by the Tourism Department has been asked to complete the assigned task by or before December 31.
