Jammu: India and Pakistan armies on Thursday exchanged gunfire along line of control in Poonch district of Jammu in the state of Jammu and Kashmir.

According to officials Pakistani resorted to unprovoked firing at around 0555 hours, violated ceasefire in Kerni Sector.

“Light weapons and small arms were fired by the Pakistan, the fire was retaliated effectively by Indian Army,” officials said.
