Ganderbal: Residents protest against suspension of school teacher, demand revocation ‘immediately’

Ganderbal: Residents of  Hayan Kangan area of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Friday protested against suspension of a government school teacher namely Bilal Ahmad Shah in Government Boys High School.

Protesters blocked Sgr-Leh highway at Hayan and demanded revocation of the order.

Shah was suspended November 13 after ‘he exposed the negligence of education department’

Police party from Police Station Kangan rushed to the spot and assured protesters after that protests end peacefully.

Reports said that the locals have locked school and demanded that they will only let school function after the suspension order of Shah is revoked.
