Correction: 4 militants killed in Arwani Anantnag

Anantnag:  Four militants have been killed in a gunfight with government forces in Arwani area of Anantnag district on Thursday, officials clarified on Thursday afternoon.

According to a police officer, the four militants were killed in the gunfight that broke out on Thursday afternoon soon after government forces launched a cordon and search operation in the area.

Massive clashes erupted in the area amid exchange of fire. The clashes were going on when reports last came in.
