Jammu: A Vaishno Devi pilgrim died of suspected cardiac arrest outside Bhawan in Vaishno Devi hills of Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir, police said on Wednesday.

“An information was recieved from Dispensary Bhawan that one pilgrim identified as Surender Gole,35, son of Mangi Lal, resident of 3/213 Rattan Vihar, Kiradi Suleman Nagar, Northwest Delhi, suddenly fell unconscious near X-Ray Point Bhawan while on his way from Katra to Bhawan,” police said here.

They said that he was immediately shifted to dispensary Bhawan where doctors declared him brought dead.

An Investigating Officer was deputed to complete all legal formalities while the body was handed over to the relatives.
