Unknown gunmen abduct man in Unsoo village Sopore

Sopore : Masked gunmen on Wednesday abducted a civilian from Unsoo village Handwara area of Kupwara district on Wednesday.

A police officer confirmed that a person was abducted by masked gunmen from his shop at Younsoo in Handwara area of Kupwara district. However, he said the person is a resident of Tujjar area of Sopore in Baramulla district.

The civilian has been identified as Tauseef Ahmad Ganai, son Of Muhammad Afzal Ganai.

SSP Sopore Javid Iqbal told INS that following this news a manhunt has been launched to trace the abducted man.

Pertinently the abducted man belongs from Tujjer village of Sopore and was today kidnapped from his shop on Younisa. This is second incident in last two weeks in Zaingeer belt.
