Srinagar: Hurriyat Conference led by Mirwaiz Umar Farooq said that youth from Noorbagh Srinagar was killed in a target firing at his home and termed it as worst form of “genocide.”
In statement issued here, Mirwaiz also paid tributes to the youth Muhammad Saleem Malik and three other armed youth killed in two separate encounters in Chadoora, Budgam and Dooru Anantnag
“The Hurriyat Conference strongly denounced a fresh wave of killings, thrashing of youth and arrest spree under the garb of CASO across Kashmir, “ a spokesman of the amalgam said, terming it as the worst form of “state terrorism”.
“For just enacting the drama of elections, genocide of youth is being carried out while as jails are being filled with the resistance leaders.”
Regarding Malik, amalgam said that he was killed in a target firing at his home and termed it worst form of genocide.
The amalgam paid tributes to Malik and three other armed youth killed in two separate encounters in Chadoora Budgam and Dooru Anantnag, stating that the blood spilled by the youth won’t go waste.
The Hurriyat Conference also strongly condemned the use of force on the funeral procession of Malik.
