After improvement, MeT predicts light rains in J&K parts for next 5 hours

Srinagar, Apr 30: After the three-day wet spell comes to an end, the weatherman here has predicted light rains and showers at multiple places for the next five hours.

Director Meteorological department, Mukhtar Ahmad while sharing the forecast, stated that presently the weather is cloudy.

He added that the light rain and thunder is expected over few places of South Kashmir, Pahlgam and Ganderbal.

He added that amidst the cloudy with weather conditions, there is a possibility of intermittent light rain and showers at many places of Kashmir & a few places of Jammu during next 3-5 hours.

Few places may experience Hailstorm for short period, he said, adding that overall, nothing major is expected today.
