Employee Friendly Business Event’ held at KU

Srinagar:  Registrar University of Kashmir Prof Neelofar Khan today inaugurated a two-day ‘Employee –Friendly Business Event’ organized by Kashmir University Ministerial Staff Association (KUMSA) in collaboration with M/S Hanief Motors MA road and Jammu and Kashmir Bank Branch Hazratbal, Srinagar.

During the inauguration of the two-day event Registrar KU Prof Neelofar Khan was informed by the representatives of M/S Hanief Motors including the proprietor  Mr Mohammad Hanief who was also present on the occasion  about the special offer on the purchase of YAMAHA Scooty and Bike for the employees of the University of Kashmir.

While appreciating the efforts of KUMSA for organizing such events for the benefit of the employee community of the university Prof Khan impressed upon the management of M/SHanief Motors to explore the possibility of extending the scheme for the students of the university also.

Highlighting the importance of two-wheeler mode of transportation Prof Khan said “Given the present traffic scenario and huge market prices a two wheeler like Scooty or bike has become an easy and affordable mode of transportation and I would suggest the representative from M/S Hanief Motors to extend this scheme to the students of the university as well.”

President KUMSA while expressing gratitude to the representatives of M/S Hanief Motors and officials of the J&K bank, Hazratbal Branch said that KUMKSA aims to organize more such events in the future for the mutual benefit of the employees, concerned firm and the J&K bank.

While sharing her views on the occasion Media Coordinator KU Mrs Muslim Jan requested the representatives of the firm to provide free of cost helmet or on concessional rates along with the Scooty and bikes to encourage safety of the two-wheeler riders.
