Bandipora: Fresh exhcange of gunfire started in forest area of Sumular area of North Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Friday morning.

A police officer said that a fresh gunfight broke out this morning after the joint team of army, SOG and CRPF intensified the combing operation to trace out the hiding militants.

Earlier two militants were killed at ShokBaba forest area in Sumular.

The gunfight broke Thursday afternoon after the joint team of army’s 13RR, SOG and CRPF launched cordon and search operation at ShokBaba forest.
