Srinagar: Roads and Building department to surprise of residents of Kashi- Mohalla, Driywani Batmaloo  has thrown all the technical rules to dust while black topping the road stretch in the area.

A delegation of the locality told INS that the department has even not cleared the base of road between Kashi Mohalla,  dyarwani battamaloo upto Unani Hospital.

“They did not remove dust and other materials to create a strong baseline for black topping, ” they said.

“They came and threw the magdam on road and left. With a slight of rain and bit traffic it will all break open,” they said.

Residents accused authorities of callous approach towards public workings.

“It’s a sheer wastage of public money,” angry residents said.

They appealed to governor that not only should look into the matter but launch an inquiry as to how tax payers money is being wasted.
