Principal DIET Kud suspended, show cause notice served to 26 officials

UDHAMPUR: District administration Udhampur has suspended Principal of Kud  DIET and served show cause notice to other staff after an inspection team found it locked during office hours.  All the employees including Principal DIET,  Davinder Handoo,   HODs and Lecturers were absent from duty without any prior permission or leave.

Officials said that ‘taking a serious note of the absenteeism, Deputy Commissioner Ravinder Kumar, after receiving a written complaint from the Sub-Divisional Magistrate Chenani, suspended Principal with immediate effect served show cause notice to other 26 officials asking them to explain their position within two days positively.

“The DC has also ordered inquiry into the functioning of DIET,”

Meanwhile, Sub-Divisional Magistrate Dudu,  Abdul Sattar has been appointed as enquiry officer and directed to submit the report for initiating disciplinary action against the absentees.
