Tourist injured in phone snatching incident

A tourist sustained minor injuries on Thursday morning after four unknown men allegedly tried to snatch his mobile phone at Botanical garden in Kokernag village of Islamabad district, a police official claimed.

An official said that possibly three to four men overpowered a tourist identified as Razy-ul-Haq, son of Himayatulla, a resident of Kalwadiyan, a district of Murshid Abad West Bengal and snatched his mobile phone at the botanical garden in Kokernag. Haq also sustained minor injuries while trying to save his cell phone from the men.

Meanwhile, police have registered a case and investigations have been taken up.
