Srinagar: The Joint Resistance Leadership on Tuesday condemned summoning of Kashmir Observer reporter Aquib Javed and said that such kind of action is aimed to intimidate and overawe the journalist fraternity of the Valley.

In a statement issued here, the JRL comprising Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Yasin Malik said that NIA action was highly condemnable.

“Such kind of action is aimed to intimidate and overawe the journalist fraternity of the Valley,” the JRL said.
