Shopian militant’s father dies of cardiac arrest after news about son being trapped in encounter

Srinagar: Father of a militant died of cardiac arrest soon after hearing his son was among militants who were trapped in gunfight with government forces at Kundalan Village of Shopian district.
Reports said that Mohammed Ishaq Naikoo son of Ghulam Ahmad Naikoo of Memander Shopian, suffered a severe heart attack after being informed that his son Zeenat, who joined militant ranks only two months back, was among those who were trapped in the gunfight with the forces. Ishaq was rushed to hospital where doctors declared him dead. A police officer said that it would premature to say whether Zeenat is among those JeM militants at Kundalan.
