Tokyo: The death toll in Japan due to incessant rains has wreak havoc and devastated parts of Japan has risen to 122 people, media reports quoting government officials said.

The reports said that while the country is battling with the rising death toll people are searching for their loved ones as several dozen people are still missing.
“Rescue workers, including police and troops, have been battling to find survivors and victims as flood waters start to recede,” officials had told media.
