One dead several injured after landslide hit nomad tents at Thimdam Behak Anantnag.

Anantnag: At around 0700 hours landslide  occured on the top of forest at Thimdan Behek forest and some shooting stones hit two tents which resulted in on the spot death of one person and injuries to many.

On this a rescue operation was launched by Anantnag Police and Police team headed by SHO Utrasoo reached on spot and found dead body on one Nomad namely Mohd Shafi paswal age 60 years Son of late Kamal ud-Din Resident of Jij Bagli Reyasi and injuries to
1. Fhoola begm age 55 yers wife of late Dooda paswal.

2. Nazera begum age 38 year’s wife of Nazir Ahmad paswal. 3. Khalid paswal age 12 years Son of Nazir Ahmad.

4. Nazia Akhter age 3 years Daughter of Nazir Ahmad paswal all reridents of juj bagli Reasi.
The Dead body and injured persons were brought to Thimden village by a police team headed by SHO Utrsoo and volenters of Thimdan.

After hectic efforts injured were shifted to SDH Shangs for treatment and the dead body also shifted to hospital for autopsy.

In this regard proceedings Under section 174- initiated to rule out any foulplay.

Dead body will be handed over to legal hairs after formalties.
