Police books nine for anti government activities in Kishtwar

Police on Tuesday booked a pro-freedom leader along with eight other youth for their alleged anti-national activities in Kishtwar district of Jammu region.

Reports said that the pro-freedom leader identified as Abdul Qayoom Mattoo, son of Assadullah Mattoo resident of Umar Mohallah in Kishtwar, along with other eight youth was booked for allegedly raising anti-India, pro-Freedom, pro-Militant and pro-Pakistan slogans on June 16, Eid day.

In this regard, police have registered two FIRs in connection with alleged anti-national sloganeering on eve of Eid ul Fitr.
