Srinagar: Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti has strongly condemned the killing of two Policemen in a pre-dawn attack at Pulwama today.
In a statement, the Chief Minister described the act as highly reprehensible which was committed in a night during which the entire Muslim Ummah was seeking forgiveness from Allah (SWT).
Mehbooba Mufti cautioned people against such incidents which have the potential of depriving them from the gains of the peace moves like suspension of security operations and dialogue offer undertaken by the State and Central Governments recently. She asked people to stand guard of the positivity generated by these peace moves on the ground which has given them ample relief and ease.
The Chief Minister has conveyed her sympathies to the bereaved families of the slain cops while praying for peace to the departed souls.
