Srinagar: Hurriyat Conference led by Mirwaiz Umar Farooq expressed serious concern and condemned the killing of a youth Kaiser Ahmad Bhat of Fatah Kadal and injuring other youth Muhammad Younis Bhat of Dalgate by mowing down vehicle over them by CRPF.
“Such incidents exhibits open aggression and worst form of State terrorism unleashed on the people of Kashmir,” a spokesman o the Hurriyat Conference said in a statement issued here.
The amalgam said that it was because of the unbridled powers given to the forces and the lack of accountability that every day innocent civilians are brutally killed, which is condemnable in all forms.
It said that brutal use of force and the reign of “terror unleashed” on the mourners who were carrying the body of Kaiser Ahmad reflects that “we are not even allowed to mourn the death of our dear ones.”
The Hurriyat Conference said with each passing day the anger among the people across Kashmir towards the government forces and the ruling dispensation is increasing . “On one hand, government claims that there are positive results to their cessation of hostilities against the people, but on the other killings, arrests and use of brute force continue to suppress people.”
