Elated with the win, the founders have credited the coaching staff, especially head coach for this win.

Downtown displayed a significant play, leaving opposition stunned with their nimble foot play.

“Despite not a good start to the tournament, our coaching staff, especially the head coach Hilal Rasool Parray and Ajaz Ahmad, backed the team and kept them motivated,” Downtown Heroes founder Mushtaq Bashir said in a statement.

“This win has boosted team’s morale and we’re hopeful of good performance in the upcoming matches as well,” he added.

Downtown Heroes is the only club from J&K who made it to the 2nd Division I-League this year.
