Soon after the grenade attack, police and CRPF reached to the spot and took stock of the situation there.

Meanwhile, NC leader Mohammad Ashraf Bhat told INS that, “such incidents happen due to the back to back actions on civilians in South Kashmir.”

He said that government’s ceasefire is no-where on ground as people suffer constantly due to actions on them.

“Not only me but many others contested elections in past but i don’t know why i am being targeted all the time with grenade attacks,” Bhat told INS.
