In a statement, Khan said that with Eid-ul-Adha falling towards the end of the month, government employees across Jammu & Kashmir require timely disbursement of salaries to make necessary arrangements for the holy occasion, including the purchase of sacrificial animals, clothing for children and other essential household expenditures associated with the festival.

He stated that advance release of salaries would greatly ease the financial planning of employees and enable them to celebrate Eid with dignity and peace of mind alongside their families.

Khan expressed hope that the government will give due consideration to the genuine concerns of employees and take appropriate measures regarding the advance release of salaries ahead of Eid-ul-Adha.
