In Anantnag this religeous org urges youth to shun drugs

Anantnag: Religious organisations enjoy emotional following among masses and people have been time and again asking them to not work on Sectarian lines. In Islamabad, in north Kashmir this organisation showed they way how to help society through religion and take its youth away from Drugs, a menace that has been damaging societies.

  In a bid to create awareness among the youth regarding the ugly effects of drug addiction, an anti-drug seminar was held in Polytechnic Collage in Larkipora Area of south Kashmir Anantnag District. Large number of students Teachers and locals were participated in the programme.

The Programme was organized by Minhaj Ul Quran inside premises of Polytechnic Collage at Larkipora Anantnag.

The main aim to conduct the programme was to inculcate the awareness among the students and smokers about the drug addiction with the sole objective to eradicate the drug menace from district Anantnag and convey the message that it is a disease that needs to be treated as early as possible. 

Speaking on the inauguration of the programme Peerzada Maqsood Ahmad HOD Department of Arabic Boys Collage Anantnag shared his valuable insights and gave suggestions to tackle this problem and said that there is an urgent need of organizing such awareness programmes to prevent our young generation from indulging in drug addiction.

The program included presentations from Experts State General Secretary Minhaj Ul Quran Minhaj Ashraf, District President Minhaj Ul Quran Sajad Ahmad Khalid Muntazir Senior Journalist, Saami Jan Faculty Member of polytechnic Collage were also presented on the occasion.
