Accident at Samba: Five including minor killed, eight injured

Jammu: Five persons died including a year old baby boy and eight were injured at at Tapyal, Ghagwal Samba here after the vehicle they were travelling met with an accident.

“Last night one Innova No.DL4CAE-6465 on way from Jammu towards Punjab hit a parapet at Tapyal, Ghagwal Samba resulting into death of 5 persons & injuries to 08 others. All residents of Gurdaspur Punjab,” officials said.

The accident occurred at around 2 am, and the injured were shifted to GMCH Jammu

Names of Dead:-

  1. Labpreet Singh (30 yrs) S/o Sandu Singh-Driver.
  2. Punnu (30 yrs) w/o Atras.
  3. Veena w/o Ram Paul
  4. Geeta Devi (60 yrs) w/o Kashmira Lal.
  5. One male baby (01 yrs), (Name Not Known).

 

Names of Injured: –

  1. Rahul (23 yrs) S/o Kashmira Lal.
  2. Atras (24 yrs) S/o Vijay Masih.
  3. Raju (30 yrs) S/o Yousaf Masih.
  4. Neetu (25 yrs) W/o Rahul and her 02 Children.
  5. Roop Singh (45 yrs) S/o Sohan Singh.
  6. Monu (26 yrs) S/o Ram Paul.
