Supreme Court transfers Kathua case to Pathankot, Punjab

Srinagar: The Kathua rape and murder of minor case has been transferred to Pathankot in Punjab by Supreme court on Monday.

The apex court had earlier said that it would transfer the Kathua case from the local court in the “slightest possibility of lack of fair trial, saying the “real concern” was to hold proper prosecution.
The charge sheet file by the crime branch of state police against seven persons and a separate charge sheet against a juvenile in a court in Kathua district last week.
