Shopian 03 May:

Thousands attend funeral prayers of slain civilian ,umar kumar from pinjura area of shopian in south kashmir.who was killed yesterday by government forces during firing on protesters near the encounter site of Turkuwangam shopian

A complete shutdown is being observed in shopian as well as in pulwama of south Kashmir against civilian killing on Thursday.

All the shops, business establishments and schools remain closed for from last four days due to prevailing situation inPulwama and Shopian.

However gunfight had erupted in Tarkwangam area of district Shopian on Wednesday afternoon in which militants managed to escape from there

But forces damaged two houses and at least two cowsheds at encounter site and local people are helping to victims to clear the debris.

Mobile internet has been suspended in shopian and parts of pulwama
