Anantnag: Shutdown is being observed in district Anantnag in wake of civilian killing on Wednesday.

All the shops and other business establishments are shut while traffic is off the roads.

Earlier, on late Wednesday afternoon, a gunfight had erupted between militants and government forces in which a civilian was killed while two militants managed to escape.

Over 30 people have also sustained injuries during the clashes.
