Drabgam encounter: Two militants killed, civilian succumbs

Pulwama: Two militants have been killed in the gunfight between militants and Government forces at Drabgam area of Pulwama on Monday, sources said.

According to police sources two militants have been killed while identification process of the slain is underway.

One Youth identified as Shahid resident of Arihall injured in Drabgam Pulwama clashes Succumbed to his injuries.

“One civilian killed in clashes near encounter site identified as Shahid Ahamd of Arihal Pulwama Age 14 years,more than 15 other civilians injured among 5 refered to Srinagar,” sources said.

Earlier two army men including Major ranking officer received fire arm injury and where flown to army hospital.

Clashes too erupted in the vicinity in which reportedly seven people were injured.

official confirmation is awaited.
