Srinagar: Suspected militants shot at and injured a shopkeeper, allegedly affiliated with a mainstream political party, at Alochbagh area of Srinagar. Sources said the injured, Zubair Ahmad Parray, was shifted to SMHS hospital. Zubair had left police job some years back.
Local sources said that he was associated with BJP during the electioneering for last assembly elections in 2014. However, it could not be immediately know whether or not he continued allegiance thereafter .
