Massive clashes erupt during CASO in Tarigam Kulgam

Kulgam: Massive Clashes started during a cordon-and-search-operation in Khanday Mohallah of Tarigama area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam District on Saturday evening.
Sources told to INS that Jammu Kashmir police, army’s Rashtriya Rifles and paramilitary CRPF started the operation in the area.
As soon as the joint team laid a siege in the area, people hit the streets, shouting pro-freedom slogans,.
“The youth threw stones on the forces and later in retaliation fired tear smoke shells,” locals said.
Meanwhile the forces launched door to door search operation after closing all the entry and exit points to Tarigam area. Details emerging.
