JCCI president Rakesh Gupta addressed a hurriedly called presser in Jammu on Tuesday to clarify the organizations stand over the Jammu Bandh call on April 11.

“Rassana rape and murder of an 8 yr child is heinous crime irrespective of cast, Creed and religion and who so ever is found guilty should be awarded highest punishment as provided under law, and the fact is that the investigation by the Crime Branch was being monitored by the Honble High court and the charge sheet has also been filled so it is a subjudice matter and it is entirely up to judiciary to see the authenticity of the chargesheet and decide the same or handover to cBI for further investigation,” Gupta said.

According to Gupta JcCI would like to advise Bar president to reconsider the Jammu Bandh call.

“JCCI is committed to work with Bar association on the issue based on logic only but not on politically motivated issues’,” they said.
