Kashmir University playing with students career: protesting students in Sopore

Sopore: Dozens of undergraduate 3rd-semester students of Government Degree College (GDC), Sopore on Monday staged a protest demonstration against the Kashmir University’s delay in their exams.

“Don’t waste our one precious year and Save our future,” said the protesting students.

The students accused the university administration of spoiling their future by not declaring their examination results at time.

Sadaf, a student said that it has become a routine for KU ‘to create trouble for studetns’ and ‘play with our careers’.

“Similar protests took place last year and number of memorandums were given to the concerned authorities but all in vain,” Sadaf said.

Students claimed that after semester system of examination students are only ‘suffering’.

“They should roll back semester based examination.”
