Cabinet to Discuss Reservation Report Response Today

BASHARAT RASHID
Tral (Pulwama) : The employees of Wildlife department Monday protested here demanding immediate revocation of SRO-520, regularization of casual laborers, and releasing of pending salaries.
The protest was organized by the J&K Wildlife Employees’ and Workers Union headed by president Tariq Ahmad Sofi, and provincial president Abdul Rashid.
The employees accused the authorities of resorting to ‘delay tacticts’ over revocation of SRO-520, regularization of casual labourers, and approval of minimum wages.
Terming the SRO-520 by government a unfortunate decision played upon the daily wagers and unconfirmed employees, provincial president, Ab Rashid told INS that the order was unfortunate for the employees in the name of regularization.
“Besides that, risk allowance should be given to the employees of wildlife and casual labourers should be regularised”, he said
“The SRO-520 is not a good decision which has played upon the daily wagers and unconfirmed employees. We demand the revocation of it, besides fulfilment of all other demands,”Union president Tariq Sofi  said.
