Govt forms panel for examining issue of BAC to migrants

Srinagar: The Government on Thursday constituted a three-member panel for “critical” examination and analyzing the issue regarding issuance of Backward Area Certificate to migrants.
The three-member panel comprising administrative secretary GAD (convenor), administrative secretary Social Welfare Department, administrative secretary Law and Justice and Parliamentary Affairs regarding issuance of Backward Area Certificate in favour of migrants by amending Rule 21 of the J&K Reservation Rules notified vide SRO-294 of 2005
